    Future Educators Scholarships

Strong schools start with strong teachers—and the next generation of educators is already on its way. SCEF invests in the future by awarding college scholarships to students planning to become teachers.

These scholarships support aspiring educators as they pursue their degrees and prepare to return to the school community with passion, preparation, and purpose.

  • Teacher Mini Grants

Great ideas deserve the resources to become reality. SCEF's Teacher Mini Grants program empowers Shelby County educators to bring innovative, student-centered projects to life—funding the supplies, experiences, and tools that budgets don't always allow.

From classroom libraries to hands-on science experiments, these grants help teachers go beyond the basics and create the kind of memorable learning moments that stay with students long after the bell rings.
